During the summer of 2019 one of our briefs was to look at a piece of news everyday for 30 days and document our findings. When looking through family photo albums my parents were showing me how the beach they got married on 30 years ago is now fully submerged in water. This led me to design In Deep where I use imagery to show people a comparison of the world over the years. To follow up this editorial piece I made a 3-D design which was a message to the world in a bottle for when the world is fully under water. 

 

I found that there was a theme of only bad news being documented and no one was focusing on the positives. So as an additional piece I looked in to how human absence during covid-19 was actually having a positive outcome on the world.
