Family monograms was a project set by the uni for over the Christmas period. The project started off as a research project in to finding as much as we could about or oldest living female and male relative. Once we gathered all the information the task was to design it in to a 32 page editorial piece to showcase their interests and hobbies. With this information the task was then to design two monograms which represented them best, for my grandad I used the boys brigade logo and incorporated this in to his.

When we had finished designs we then learnt about embroidery files and embroidered these on handkerchiefs to give them as a gift.
